D Y Patil Group of Institutions is founded to provide quality education and contribute towards the social responsibility. The foundation was laid by Father Founder Hon’ble Dr D Y Patil in the year 1983 by starting the first engineering college in Navi Mumbai. Group began to grow exponentially in all the fields of education namely, Agriculture, Medical, Science, Engineering, Management, Design and many more. Under the leadership of father founder Padma Shri Dr D Y Patil group has more 12 campuses across India those includes 6 Universities and more than 150 Institutes which are engaged in delivering education from KG to PG.Four decades of D Y Patil Group in India and abroad is known for its vision and mission. It owes its existence to the wisdom, benefaction, and hard work of a far-sighted visionary; Padma Shri Dr. D. Y. Patil, Ex-Governor of States of Tripura, West Bengal, and Bihar, who sowed the seed of education in Maharashtra in the year 1983 with a vision ‘Knowledge is Supreme’ and has contributed to spread its educational institutions in three major districts of Maharashtra, namely Mumbai, Pune, and Kolhapur. Today, it is one of the largest private educational groups in the India and State of Maharashtra has more than 182 Institutes, Three Deemed Universities, Four State Private Universities, 96,000+ Students, 3.75 Lacs+ Alumni, 11,000 + Employees under its expansive umbrella.
